The Gate City Chapter proudly recognizes Bridget Lindsay as our Alumni Spotlight Award Winner for June 2026.

A native of Midway, North Carolina, Bridget is a proud graduate of North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University, where she earned her degree in Computer Science in 1993 and later continued her academic journey at A&T, graduating again in 2004. She further advanced her education by earning a Master’s in Management Information Science with a focus in Computer Science.

Today, Bridget serves as Deputy Chief Information Officer for IT Business, Strategy, and Planning. In this leadership role, she applies her expertise in technology, strategy, and organizational planning to support innovation, strengthen operations, and help guide the direction of information technology initiatives.

Bridget chose North Carolina A&T because of its reputation as a leading HBCU, its vibrant culture, and the many opportunities it offered. From traditions such as Aggie Fest to the energy of Homecoming, she was drawn to the pride, excellence, and sense of community that make A&T so special.

One of Bridget’s best college memories is experiencing “Old School Aggie Fest,” which remains one of her most treasured memories from her time in Aggieland. Those moments reflect the joy, connection, and unforgettable spirit that define the Aggie experience.

While at A&T, Bridget learned one of life’s most important lessons: defeat is only temporary when you refuse to give up. She credits A&T with teaching her resilience, the importance of trusting the process, and the confidence to face challenges with determination. Through every obstacle, she learned there is always a way to adjust, recover, and keep moving forward.

When asked to describe A&T in three words, Bridget proudly stated: No Other. Period!

The Gate City Chapter celebrates Bridget Lindsay for her professional leadership, resilience, and continued embodiment of Aggie Pride. Congratulations on this well-deserved honor!”
